Requirements
Private Hire :
When hiring for personal use such as a house move, we require the hirer/driver to have a C1 entitlement on their driving licence.
*The C1 category allows you to drive vehicles weighing between 3,500 and 7,500kg. People who passed their car driving test before 1st January 1997 should automatically hold this entitlement. Anyone who passed their car driving test after 1st January 1997 would be required to take an additional driving course to obtain the C1.
Commercial Hire :
Business users must hold a valid Operators Licence and be able to insure the vehicle themselves (proof of both required).
