Q. Do I qualify to hire a car or van ?
A. Hirers must be at least 23 years of age, with a valid and clean driver's license held for a minimum of 2 years.

Q. How can I pay for the rental vehicle ?
A. Payments by all major credit cards are accepted as well as a personal cheque, with a cheque guarantee card and cash payments.

Q. What if I have problems with the car on the road ? (i.e. Breakdown)
A. All our vehicles include 24 hour emergency cover.

Q. What if I am involved in a road traffic accident ?
A. Immediately contact our offices, where our Road Traffic Accident Department will help you with the recovery of the vehicle. We can arrange a replacement vehicle if needed.

Q. If I get a speeding or parking ticket, what happens?
A. You are responsible for the ticket in full. Bury Van Hire accepts no responsibility for any fine or payment. You are obliged to inform Bury Van Hire of any fines or parking tickets issued whilst the vehicle is being used by you.

Q. Am I allowed to take the vehicle abroad?
A. Yes, but there will be additional charges for insurance breakdown cover.

Q. What ID do I need to hire a vehicle?
A. Full driving licence and two utility bills (eg: Gas, Electric, Bank Statement, showing your name and address).
